Kiwanis Club of Poquoson meets every Tuesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 AM both virtually and physically in Tabernacle United Methodist Church at 831 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson, VA 23662. We congregate over a hot breakfast supplied by partnering local restaurants to conduct business and hear from local leaders.

Dave was deputy program manager for the Hubble Space Telescope at NASA Langley. Dave explained how the large mirror had been incorrectly manufactured and detailed how a clever collection of corrective measures overcame the defects to produced the most detailed space images ever, a number of which images he displayed in a slide show.

The Airport lost 60% of its traffic when AirTran was acquired by Southwest and Giardino's primary goal is to bring that lost service and revenue back by targeting major carriers to expand or initiate service.

December 12th, 2017 - December is a wonderful time for the Poquoson Kiwanis. On 12 December we had the PHS Choir visit and treat us to wonderful Christmas singing. We collected "Toys for Tots" and Madonna and Frank Kregier joined us to collect all the wonderful gifts members supplied. We also welcomed Charlie French's wife Stella as an honorary member, recognizing her many hours of volunteer service at club special events.
